****** Based on the weather reports we are definitely going to feel the effects of Irma and the board is postponing this tournament. I will send out an email next week on reschedule plans. I did talk to Jordan Carroll with Anglers for a Cure today to let him know our plan and that I want to work with him on reschedule so we can fish his tournament as well. He and I are getting together next week to make a plan
FLA We will be fishing out of the Sisters Creek ramp on Sept. 9th for a slam. All teams must check in (Have your team #) at the ramp or text me (Jeff Holland) your boat number at 904 669 0030 to be entered in the tourney. Tourney within a tourney will be offered then. Safe light will be at 6:45ish and odd numbered boats will go first with even numbered following 2 minutes behind. The staging area will be the bridge fenders to the south and the concrete bulkhead of the ramp to the north. You must be back in this area by 3pm or you will be DQ'd. A courtesy measurement will happen from 3 to 3:15 When the official weigh in starts at 3 :15. Redfish must measure 18 to 27 inches, trout a minimum of 15 inches and the flounder a minimum of 12 inches. Remember 3 fish beats 2 and 2 beats 1 in the point total. Weighing in the slam is an additional 5 points to your total. We will recognize tournament top 3 at the weigh in so stick around for the presentation. Lifejackets and kill switch on when the big motor is running. Common water safety rules must be followed at all time. Good luck and be safe.
