The next FLA lure tournament will be out of the Vilano Ramp in St. Augustine on January 3rd. We will be in search of three speckled trout that must measure a minimum of 15 inches and as long as you have two people on the boat you will be able to weigh two trout over the 20 inch limit. The staging area will be 100 yards to either side of the entrance to the Vilano ramp and you must be back by 3pm. Safe light will be at 7am and even numbered boats will go first. Life jackets and kill switches must be worn at all times while the big motor is running. Courtesy measurement will stop at 3:15 when the official weigh in begins. The water has cooled but take extra precautions with those big gator trout so that everyone can get there release points.
